Justin Hallmark & Charlie Barnes get it done on Decker! Multiple patterns were used to help the team catch their 10 fish limit. Justin primarily fished a TX Rigged Blue Fleck Powerbait worm, while Charlie caught fish on frogs and jigs. Second Place went to Toby & Tim Tucker who targeted fish on the hot water side of the lake. Since a 21" or greater fish did not make it to the scale, the $40 Big Bass Pot will rollover to our Lake Travis event. Due to Covid-19 and the lack of participation in 2020, Big Sandy Creek has decided to make Lake Travis a regular season tourney.
Justin & Chris tackle a tough Lake Travis!
The team's 10 fish limit went 18.45 lbs. Their bag was anchored by Hallmark's old lake Travis dinosaur that weighed in at
6.35 lbs. Shakeyheads and slow rolled swimbaits got the finicky fish to bite in less than ideal conditions. Joe Sciuto & Charlie Barnes finished the day in second place with Barnes stating the majority of their fish were also caught on shakeyheads. The last stop of a crazy 2020 season will be a finale on Fayette in December...
