Mike Briseno & Luis Suarez win back to back BSCBC events! The latest victory comes on Lake Bastrop as the team weighed a combined total of 25.20 lbs. Mike stated that they found schooling fish early in the morning in one key area. Flukes and topwaters were the weapons of choice to catch their fish. Justin & Charlie finished in 2nd Place with 23.08 lbs. They struggled to pinpoint fish in the morning but did locate schooling fish later in the day to salvage a runner up spot. Flukes, trick worms, and ned rigs attributed to their success. The Big Bass Pot rolls over to the Inks Lake tournament in August.

Next Meeting:

Briseno & Suarez make hay on Lake LBJ! The 1st Place team broke out the blue fleck powerbait worms and baby brush hogs for a combined team weight of

34.20 lbs. Briseno also bagged the Big Bass of the event, 4.61 lbs. Second Place went to Lorne Dornak & Charlie Barnes who focused a majority of their effort in the Colorado arm of the lake. Their combined team total was 32.90 lbs. with Charlie anchoring Big Bag of the event with

18.26 lbs. Lake Bastrop is the next slated event for the Big Sandy Creek Bass Club.
